Hello there!

My name is James Spear, and I am on the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra Board of Directors. I love classical music (well, most music, really!) and I truly enjoy being a small part of ECO and bringing the music I love to our communities.

Evergreen Chamber Orchestra is very fortunate to have the support of our audience, our sponsors, our donors, and many other people and groups within our communities. Every once in awhile, we will post articles here about things that are happening around Evergreen and Denver that might be of interest to you – so check back every so often!

I figured a good place to start would be the obvious: we’ve got a fresh new website! It was definitely time for an upgrade – both in terms of looks and functionality – and we’re super excited about what we’ve come up with. 

It should be much easier now for you to find information about our Masterworks Concert Series, Chamber Recital Series, and special events such as our upcoming collaboration with the Evergreen Chorale (more on that later….). In addition, you can buy tickets directly on our website rather than SimpleTix. You can also learn more about our history, our musicians, and our community. Not everything will be finished right off the bat, but we’ll be working hard to update pages as quickly as we can. 

I hope you find our new website design to be simple to navigate and easy on the eyes. Eventually there will be a bunch of great videos for you to watch on here, as well!

I am very much looking forward to the 2019 – 2020 season. Bill, our Music Director, has put together truly excellent programs that suit our musicians and style very well! I hope you will enjoy it as much as I know I will.
