It takes more than just amazing musicians to put on great concerts and events! ECO has a small team of dedicated operations personnel that make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Next time you see them – whether at the ticket table, distributing sheet music, or setting up seating – stop by and say hello! These are the people that keep the music coming in our communities.
Interested in joining the ECO Operations Team?
We’re always looking for great people to join us! Click the button below – you’ll be taken to an inquiry form where you can tell us a little bit about yourself, your background, and your skills.
After you submit the form, we’ll reach out to schedule a time to talk in more detail about ECO and our operations, and to see if we might be a good fit for each other.
Director of Operations
Chanel has been with ECO for a number of years now – you can hear her at every concert in the violin section! Several years ago she joined the ECO operations team and is now Director of Operations. She is a rockstar in true form, making sure that everything (and we mean EVERYTHING) runs smoothly and efficiently.
String Personnel Manager
Lynn Hurst has been performing with the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra since the early days – she joined in our third season! You can hear her play with ECO in the Viola section.
Lynn has been in a number of roles with ECO, including Vice President of the Board – a position from which she retired just this year. She is an avid lover of the outdoors and recently went on a trip to Patagonia to hike in the mountains!
Winds and Percussion Personnel Manager
Sandy Fauth is a longtime ECO member. She is a part of our excellent percussion section, and you can usually see her performing as our Timpanist!
Betsy is our amazing music librarian! Her job is to make sure our musicians have the right parts for each performance. This can be more complicated than you might imagine – it’s a major task to provide sheet music 35 to 40 musicians playing any number of different parts for a given piece.
Betsy has performed as principal flute, second flute, and piccolo in ECO’s flute section for many years. She served on our Board for a number of years, as well.
Make sure to thank her the next time you see her – she deserves it!
