ECO’s annual Young Artists Solo Competition, now in its second year, is open to talented students of high school age or younger. 

The performer picks a piece for solo instrument or voice and chamber orchestra, applies to the competition and auditions in front of a panel of esteemed judges including ECO’s Music Director William Hill and Concertmaster Kathy Thayer. 

The winner gets to perform the piece with Evergreen Chamber Orchestra at our Season Finale Concerts!

There are cash prizes for first, second, and third place.

The winner of our first-annual Young Artists Solo Competition, Corvina Graham, is pictured above. She was absolutely incredible – performing Chaminade’s Concertino for Flute and Orchestra!
