Embark on an enchanting musical journey with the Evergreen Chamber Orchestra. ECO’s 44th season begins with selections from Edvard Grieg’s iconic Peer Gynt Suite No. 1, Op. 46, transporting listeners to a world of trolls and majestic sunrises.

Next, the spotlight shines on soloist Catherine Peterson, Assistant Principal Flute for the Colorado Symphony, performing Jacques Ibert’s virtuosic Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, a masterpiece of sparkling wit and lyrical beauty.

The program culminates with Felix Mendelssohn’s powerful “Reformation” Symphony No. 5, a profound work that celebrates the resilience of faith and concludes with a triumphant finale based on Martin Luther’s hymn “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God.”
