We're looking for new board members!

ECO’s 41st season comes at an exciting time of musical growth and organizational expansion! The orchestra is comprised of talented volunteer musicians from across the Denver metro area and is directed by William (Bill) Hill, principal timpanist and composer of the Colorado Symphony.

Over the past 5 seasons ECO’s budget has more than tripled, our concerts and recitals are receiving great acclaim from our audiences, we are impacting more people in our communities than ever before, and we have a strong growth path in front of us.

This season ECO is hosting our third Young Artists Solo Competition, in which the 1st prize winner will perform their piece with the orchestra at our Colorado Mountain Holiday Concert. We also aim to establish a Composers Competition to encourage and promote the next generation of composers.

We’re seeking Board members with a love for classical music and a passion for promoting excellent performances in our communities. Our Board would particularly benefit from expertise or interest in one of the following areas, but this isn’t a requirement:

Marketing (traditional / digital)
Operations
Sales
Fundraising / Major Gifts
Finance and Accounting
Nonprofit Strategy

If you’re interested in learning more about becoming a member of ECO’s Board of Directors, submit the form below and we’ll get in touch to set up a quick “get-to-know-you” call in which we’ll discuss your background, skills, and interests – and see if we might be a good fit together!

We look forward to speaking with you soon.

Yours in music,

The Evergreen Chamber Orchestra Team
