ECO’s third Masterworks Concert Series of the year – our Spring Concert! Join us at Evergreen Lutheran Church on Sunday, March 15th, 2020 at 3:00pm for a program that showcases the beauty, power, and breadth of “classical” music while pushing our orchestra to its limits. We’re thrilled to have Peggy Lyon join us yet again as piano soloist.
Manuel de Falla’s charming Three Dances from the Three-Cornered Hat, Act II is exceedingly beautiful yet incredibly difficult to execute.
JS Bach’s monumental Keyboard Concerto in D Minor BWV 1052 is a powerhouse piece – Peggy Lyon joins ECO to perform this fan-favorite work.
Finally, Mendelssohn’s “Italian” Symphony Op. 90 requires delicate textures, precise execution, and lightning-quick runs from the string section and woodwinds.
