ECO Musical Moments – No. 5 – 4/21/2020

Today, ECO’s Musical Moments series features Sandra Van Dam. Sandra has been a percussionist with ECO for a number of years now, and she has performed with numerous other orchestras as a timpanist and percussionist. She is skilled in playing a wide variety of percussion instruments, including snare drum, marimba, drum set, and more!

Sandra will be giving you a look into her home studio and her collection of snare drums and mallet instruments. She has quite the collection (watch out, Bill!) and her extensive knowledge of the history and genesis of these instruments is quite impressive.
